Small William Spratling Silver Ladle
Beautiful small silver ladle with an ebony handle by silver master, William Spratling. The inside of the bowl shows the hand hammer marks while the outside is smooth. A side view shows the elegance with which the handle is made. It is wider toward the bottom and tapers at the top.It measures 6 3/4″ long; the bowl is 1 7/8″ in diameter. There is a tiny indentation on the wood handle close to the bowl; everything else is in perfect condition. 1940’s hallmark.
